MEMBERSHIP RATES 2023-24
Annual Membership: £60
(paid in two instalments of £30 Sep/Jan, by cash or cheque (made payable to “Sandwich Chess Club”), or by GoCardless direct debit agreement)
Represents a saving of 50% across a season20% family discount on additional memberships, i.e. two memberships = £60 + £48 = £108
“Pay and play” rate (both clubs): £2.50 per week
(paid in cash on the night, or in arrears by GoCardless direct debit agreement)
The easiest way to pay is by setting up a GoCardless direct debit agreement with the club, using the big blue button on this page. You only need to do this once, and you will be notified by email before each charge is made. Payment is contactless and protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. If you wish to change your membership or cancel, then please let the Treasurer know in person or by email. You can also cancel a direct debit agreement yourself at any time.

What you will see on your bank statement:
For members who bank with NatWest, HSBC or Nationwide, it will only say “GoCardless Ltd” or “GoCardless.com” on your bank statement. For members whose accounts are with other banks, the reference will appear in the following format: GOCARDLESS-[SANDWICHESS]
